Warning: Potential Ego Swelling Ahead

Wandering around town the other day to meet up with another realtor, hands full with my binder, my purse that is refusing to stay on my shoulder and my umbrella that the wind keeps trying to take away from me, hair a blond, frizzy mess from the humidity and dampness of the day, I pass a group of Japanese men and women on the street. The man in the front seems to be taking a picture so I step up the pace to get out of the way. However, I note that the camera seems to be following me. I pause. The man takes the shot, bows to me, and continues on his merry way.

What in the world will this man do with this picture? Scare of the rats out of his house with it? Or was that just the Japanese equivilant to Paris Hilton tellng you "that's hot"?

This happens only a day after I am sitting outside and a woman strikes up a conversation with me only to end it with... you should really look into modeling here.

I think instead... I will try to start up an charity organization that hands out glasses to the needy.

Oh, yeah! And I will definitely not be changing my hair while I am here! They really do like fat, blonde chicks!

You are a hot, blonde chick, so this comes as no surpirse to me. You are not fat!!! It seems like there are two categories of Americans nowadays-obese and anorexic. You're right in the middle w/a nice voluptuous figure. You're the Marilyn Monroe of our generation (there's a reason everyone said you should dress as her for Halloween!)

Never having met you in person, or even seen a picture, I have no idea what you look like, but if complete strangers are taking your picture and telling you to model, I think you should go for it!!

I think you should start dressing in traditional japanese garb including the white powder/makeup on your face and have greg upgrade your umbrella to something fancy.....then just stand on the corner and have people pay to take photos with you....! Ok, good, you start tomorrow, good tasty!

I wonder what it would be like. Here in america, its such a damn melting pot, I see NOTHING new on the street, EVER! Everyday I see every flavor available! and like wise I am nothing new to everybody else. To be japanese where 99.6% of the population is japanese, a japanese man is surrounded by the same flavor everyday, nothing new, oh what enjoyment it must be to lay eyes on a new flavor, must be like getting that crush feeling we all use to experience in J/HS and HS...well, I am ruined, I am sick of it all, my only hope is to travel to a country where I, YES I am the rare flavor, anyway...enjoy the weekend
